The website has been down for literally…
The website has been down for literally weeks it seems. It is impossible to actually buy a Railcard. Nobody seems to be able to offer an explanation as to what is wrong with the website or how long it will take to be fixed. All comments seem to receive the same response which is please DM your query and we will answer you directly. Which I did but got no satisfactory answer. Just fix your website! How difficult can it possibly be?

Terrible terrible website
Terrible terrible website
Lots of issues with re downloading railcards and it never works. Always errors on the website saying it’s broken

Only saving grace is when they FINALLY get in touch with you. The customer service has been helpful, ‘Sana’ who helped me was great. But these issues shouldn’t be here in the first place

One of the most frustrating company’s ever, such a shame

Would You Adam and Eve It? Zilch! Nada! Nulla!
Would you adam and eve it? Having bought a railcard for £70 just before the Covid balloon went up - it meant no travel was viable in 2020 and mostly 2021.

The railcard administrators were more than quick to advise that there would be no rebate, extension or other concession - even for card owners who had never even had the chance to use it. That's £70 completely down the drain - and another for my brother too - £140 for zilch, nada, nulla!

And I haven't been on an overland train for at least 20 years. Yes really. Ever since the ticket price has been significantly more than the petrol price. Why would you take TFL transport to the main stations when this 'incidental' means takes longer than the rail journey itself? - Whilst running the risk of Covid from all those who can't be bothered to wear a mask? Nor would I now, however green it might be.

So you've got to admire their chutzpah! They've just sent me an email to see if I'd like another one! Really? Yes! Of course they would - money for nothing as Mark Knopfler would say.

So what do you think my response was to these shysters? Yes correct...............'Unsubscribe' - of course.

Don't buy unless you want stress!
I've been going round in circles trying to get my digital railcard to load. Feeling so stressed as I'm due to travel in a couple of hours. I've deleted the app in the past as I've not travelled for a while. I've loaded the app for the 3rd time on my phone and it does not recognise this is the same device yet it's not letting me remove the device to start afresh. Someitmes I get all my railcards listed other times it says I have none. Don't buy a digital railcard unless you want to raise your blood pressure.

I paid for a renewal 3 weeks ago and…
I paid for a renewal 3 weeks ago and was expecting the Railcard to be refreshed automatically. But no. On day of travel the rail card said expired. After a panic attack, I managed to log onto Railcard website get a new download code. I then had to delete old Railcard manually and add the new one using download code. Not super smooth and you need a bit of skill so not ideal for the grey haired ones amongst us.

They do not respond to support requests and delete posts from facebook.
I have a digital railcard which i need to transfer to a new phone, their site does not work properly to recognise my card or get a download code.
Support requests are only via an online form which does not provide a response.
When you mention it on their Facebook account they delete the post.
I would have liked to take an early train to the coast during my holiday on this beautiful day but there is no way to get any help.
No worries i will find as many platforms as i can to let people know how awful the service is.

Aged 10 years trying to renew
Just tried renewing my railcard. They have all my details, photos, etc ...this is a renewal, after all. But no...had to put in passport details, address, photo, birthdate...none of which were accepted on first 4 attempts. You could age from adolescent to senior by the time you're done. Checking reviews, this complaint has been going on for years. Why hasn't it been fixed? All this app needs to do is show your photo ID ...

Absolutely impossible (at first)
Absolutely impossible. For a number of days now, unable to renew card. Tried all sorts of things such as setting up new card, phoning (constantly engaged) etc.

When I previously had a card, it worked as it should, and is a good deal. Badly let down by system.

Edit: Online system still keeps coming to a grinding halt after you have put all the information in.

BUT, I was finally able to get through to the customer services (outsourced to India, so sometimes difficult to understand). They very rapidly sorted things out and also took a Tesco credit in payment.
Seems best to contact them in the morning

Legalised scam
This is a legalised scam! DO NOT BUY IT!!!

The rail card is not valid on peak hours, which essentially defeats the purpose of getting one - except for veterans, elders and students. This isn’t made clear anywhere so you’ll only find out when time comes to buy a ticket and try to use it.
When reaching out to support they simply say railcards are not refundable regardless of usage or not.

Again, DO NOT BUY IT! £30 DOWN THE DRAIN!!!

I have a three year Disability Railcard…
I have a three year Disability Railcard and today I purchased a new smartphone. It would seem that the simple task of moving my Railcard to the new phone is beyond hope. Several attempts, some even resulting in the message "transfer successful", have all failed. To make matters worse, my sister attempted to purchase her Disability Railcard using my phone. It would not allow the purchase BUT today I discover when I go into my profile, her details come up. We don't even share the same surname! As countless reviews testify, the Railcard App and the processes to manage a railcard, are absolutely shocking and leave us, the customer, feeling frustrated and helpless . Isn't it time you got your act together, listened to your customers, and create an app that remains secure and is straightforward. The banks do it, it's time you caught up.

Shockingly glitchy! Terrible website!!!
This website is impossible to use for anyone, incredibly glitchy. I needed a download code as I reset my iPhone and it is just impossible to get it without having an error. It's like the site forgets you're logged in whenever you click on something, seriously atrocious.

It took me half an hour to get the download code, by constantly refreshing my tab until it remembers I'm logged in and I don't get the error. Should have taken 30 seconds. Genuinely awful, avoid if you can.

Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service. Unable to log in. Error 500 message. Had to buy new 1 year Senior Railcard at station on day of travel although I have a digital 3 year card which I can't access. Have now sent 5 contact messages and an email. No response at all.

Awful
I never received an email allowing me to reset my password on my railcard account. Upon creating a new one, i received an error message when paying for my card. My account was charged twice (£60) and still no railcard! The customer service and complaints system is shockingly bad: its infuriating having to pay so much money for such terrible service.
